Flameproof (ATEX) Hexagon Head Stopper Plugs

Flameproof and ATEX certified brass metric hexagon head stopper plugs for insertion into un-used equipment entries and tightened by conventional hexagon spanner from outside of the equipment. These hexagon stopper plugs are certified for use within ATEX CAT2 (EExd Zone1) and CAT 3 Hazardous Areas, can also be supplied with UL, CSA, SIRA, GOST-K or GOST-R approvals to special order.

Sealed to IP54 as standard, can also be supplied with an ‘O’ ring, increasing the ingress protection to IP68.

Manufactured as standard from high quality brass to BS2874:1985 to CZ121, other materials or special finishes available to order including; Nickel or Electro-Zinc Plated Brass, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and in a 30% glass-filled Nylon EExe version. Can also be supplied with Imperial ET, NPT, BSP and PG thread forms.
