Cable Stockings

Cable stockings are manufactured from galvanised high-tensile steel wire, bunched and wound into a collapsible/expandable latticed tube which securely grips the cable during the cable pulling or installation process.

Three types of cable stocking grips are available:

• SOC 1: Single pulling eye and only for use at the cable’s travelling end.
• SOC 2: Double-eye cable sock, can be used at the cable’s travelling or slid down the cable if necessary.
• SOC 3: Open-laced, double-eye stocking type. Supplied open and then laced together around the cable circumference, this version can be installed anywhere along the cable length.
