Birkett Resin Filled Multi Service Cable Joints

The Birkett multi-service resin joint kit is designed for both cut and uncut mains cables (XLPE or PILC) up to voltages of 1000v AC or 1500v DC, with either aluminium or copper conductors.

The service joint is designed to allow two service cables to exit the joint shell, the larger joint sizes (MS70-MS300) are capable of accepting up to four service cables, as well as un-cut main cables.

High-performance two-part polyurethane SWISHPAK resin system is included in an encloses transparent mixing system, to minimise wastage and armour the bonding system. Suitable for use with the SC ranges of mechanical connectors (to be ordered separately if required).

Each multi-service joint kit comprises: two-part transparent mould, SWISHPAK resin, armour continuity braids, under-armour support rings, worm-drive clips, mastic tape and installation instructions.
