3M Scotchrap^TM Corrosion Protection Tape

3M Scotchrap 50 and 51 corrosion protection tapes are a tough PVC based tape, with special high tack adhesives formulated to resist corrosion of metal piping systems above and below ground, fittings and joints on all mill coated pipe and electrical conduit systems.

Both tapes are resistant to salt water, soil acids, alkalis and salts, chemicals and vapours as well as outdoor weathering and UV exposure. The Scotch 50 and 51 tape both have high electric strength and excellent insulating properties.

The Scotchrap 50 is a highly conformable, all weather tape with a wide temperature range, whereas the Scotchrap 51 tape shares similar qualities in a thicker tape.

Suitable for use in conjunction with the 3M Scotchrap corrosion protection primer which enhances adhesion.
