LV Heat Shrink Cable Breakouts

Heat shrink cable break out range, suitable for environmental sealing of cable interstices and crutch area when breaking formation to prevent moisture ingress. Suitable for use with all polymeric or paper insulated cables up to 1.0kV.

The Low Voltage breakouts are manufactured from semi-rigid, self-extinguishing, thermally-stabilised cross-linked polyolefin material with hot-melt adhesive lining. The material used give the break outs resistance to UV light, common fluids and solvents as well as providing mechanical durability.

Continuous temperature limit: -55^oC to +100^oC with a shrinking temperature of 120^oC. Installation should be carried out with a soft-flame gas torch.
