When fully occupied London’s 5 Broadgate in the heart of the City will be the new home for global financial services provider, UBC.
Covering over 700,000 sq ft (66,890 sq m), the building will deliver state-of-the art trading facilities. 5 Broadgate will include up to four trading floors and accommodate approximately 750 traders.
The building has been designed by Make Architects and is on track to receive a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
ETS – working with the main contractor Mace – supplied Phoenix Cable Cleats (fire survival cleats). The cable cleats, from Ellis Patents, are designed to complement the new fire performance cables that are increasingly being specified within commercial and public building projects.
CMP CW Cable Glands, Cembre Cable Lugs and Euromold Separable Connectors were also delivered as part of the project.
ETS have supplied materials for a wide range of projects in London including the Shard and Crossrail.
