CW Brass Integral Earth Cable Glands

The CW brass integral earth cable gland is suitable for use with all steel wire armoured (SWA) cables in either an indoor or outdoor environment. The gland comes with a heavy duty cast integral earth lug (CIEL) to provide electrical continuity of the cable’s armouring. The gland is particularly suitable for MV installations on 11-33kV cables where a high level of protection from fault currents may be required.

Mechanical armour wire retention and electrical continuity of the SWA is provided by a detachable armour cone and AnyWay universal clamping ring, which allows for easy removal of the gland body for testing without disturbing the clamping arrangement.

Entry thread protection rating: IP54, which can be increased to IP66 with a nylon entry thread washer.
