Heat Shrink Cable Sheath Repair Sleeves

The SWRS adhesive-lined, heat-shrinkable wraparound repair sleeves with stainless steel self-locking channel. Primarily used for outer sheath repair for power cables at any voltage, SWRS repair sleeves provide corrosion protection to the cable’s armouring and a water-tight seal around the cable outer sheath.

Manufactured from semi-rigid, self-extingushing, thermally-stabilised cross-linked polyolefin material with hot-melt adhesive lining. The heatshrink sleeves have a continuous temperature limit: -40^oC to +90^oC and dielectric strength >12kV per mm.

Installation should be carried out with the use of a soft-flame gas torch, heating the material to 120^oC.

Supplied as standard in 1 metre lengths, other lengths can be supplied to special order, up to 1.5 metres.
