3M 92-EE717-1 Universal Bushing Boots

The 3M Universal Bushing Boot system consists of a one piece anti-tracking, flexible EPDM rubber body, suitable for additional insulation of Medium Voltage equipment bushings up to 17.5kV. Used to increase the creepage distance between live metals, the surrounding metalwork and neighbouring phases.

Suitable for both angled and straight connections, the product is designed to accommodate bushings of cast resin or porcelain type with diameters between 40-70mm.

The EPDM material used within the 3M bushing boots retains a constant compressive force onto the cable and equipment bushing, allowing the product to expand and contract under heat-cycling conditions, even after prolonged years of service.

• Suitable for cable sizes: 50-300mm² at 11kV
• Un-screened, for use within air-insulated equipment and switchgear
• High interface pressure ensures absolute water tightness
• Meets the requirement of CENELEC HD 629.1 S1.
