3M Cable & Wire Pulling Lubricant

3M^TM Wire/Cable Pulling Lubricants are a translucent white polymer gel which produces a low coefficient of friction for smooth low-tension wire and cable pulling. A low coefficient of friction makes cable pulling easier and safer with less chance for cable insulation/jacket damage from high pulling forces.

The lubricant is easy to handle and apply. The material is colourless, non-flammable and non-staining and affords quick and easy cleanup. The low solids content means less conduit/duct blocking if additional pulls are required.

The easy to apply lubricants are a non-flammable, non-staining, water soluble polymer producing low residue. Suitable temperature use range: -5^oC to +45^oC.

Compatible with a wide range of cable types:

• LUB version has a solids content of <3.5% and is best-suited to finer wires or conduit wiring cables.
• LUBP version has greater solids content of <5.5% and is suitable for the installation of multi-cored power, control, instrumentation and communication cables at any voltage.
