3M Cold Shrink End Caps

Closed-ended, pre-stretched, 3M Cold Shrink^TM EPDM cable end caps, factory expanded onto a removable plastic core. Manufactured from the same EPDM rubber as the Permanent Sealing Tubes and provide a permanent radial seal for un-energised cables at all voltages.

Positioned over the cable end, the core is removed by hand – requiring no special tooling. The live memory action of the Cold Shrink rubber shrinks the end cap into position, providing a reliable, durable seal and protecting the cable ends from water ingress and environmental damage.
