3M EPDM Cold Shrink Tubing

Pre-Stretched 3M Cold Shrink^TM EPDM tubing is factory expanded and assembled onto a removable core, allowing installation without the need for a heat source.

These open-ended, tubular sleeves are supplied ready for field installation. Once the tube has been positioned over an inline connection or termination, the core is removed allowing the tube to shrink and create a environmental seal.

Suitable as primary insulation on a range of 1000v cables with copper or aluminium conductors.

The 3M 8420 series Cold Shrink tubing is thick-walled to resist puncture, as well as being resistant to water, fungus, acids, alkalis and UV light.
