3M LVI-3/3C Straight Resin Cable Joint For Hazardous Areas

The 3M Scotchcast LVI-3/3C hazardous area cable joint kits are designed for use with both single-core and multi-core armoured Low Voltage (LV) cables up to 3.3kV. Designed for use in areas of high soil contamination and ATEX-rated Hazardous Areas.

The 3M LVI-3/3C resin joint kit replaces the traditional LR joint range and includes mechanical connectors within the kit.

LVI-3/3C ATEX-rated joint properties:

• Max. diameter: 35.0mm
• Single-core XLPE/AWA/LSF 1kV cable range: 70-95mm²
• Two-core XLPE/SWA/LSF 1kV cable range: 10-25mm²
• Three-core XLPE/SWA/LSF 1kV cable range: 10-16mm²
• Four-core XLPE/SWA/LSF 1kV cable range: 10-16mm²

Each 3M Hazardous Area joint kit comprises of: mechanical connectors, two-part transparent mould, 1402FR resin pack, armour continuity stocking, constant force springs, Scotch T2319 self-amalgamating tape, phase spacer web and full installation instructions.
