CSGK 1 Cold Shrink Gland Kit

CSGK 1 “Top Hat” gland kit, or steel tubular glands, are manufactured from galvanised sheet steel and suitable for use with all SWA cables up to 36kV.

The cable armour wires are effectively earthed around the circumference of the gland, with an integral earth facility provided on the mounting flange to allow connection to the building system earth.

CSGK 1 glands are suitable for three-core MV power cables and supplied with a ColdShrink EPDM shroud to provide a barrier to moisture ingress.

Supplied with M10 fixings but features both X and Y BS2562 fixing centres, 66.0 x 66.0mm and 86.0 x 95.0mm. Each Cold Shrink gland kit is suitable for a range of conductor cross-sectional areas, depending on the cable’s maximum voltage rating. Please see our datasheet for full gland kit specification.
