Utilising 3M ColdShrink components and copper armour-continuity stockings, these joints are suitable for live, unscreened SWA armoured power cables upto 3.3kV, including lead-sheathed (Pb) cables. Only suitable for use with compression splices.

Suitable for installation within confined areas such as cable trays due to their small profile, the LC range is not recommended for direct burial. The EPDM joint tubes are resistant to acids, alkalis, ozone, UV and inhibits fungus growth.

Each kit comprises: ColdShrink outer protection tube, copper braid stocking, constant force springs, Scotch 2228 mastic tape, Scotch 23 self-amalgamating tape and full instructions.
