MV Busbar Insulation Tapes

General purpose, Medium Voltage (MV) busbar insulating tapes are adhesive-coated, heat-shrinkable insulation tapes that are used to insulate copper and aluminium busbars at all voltages up to 24kV.

The adhesive layer fuses the layers of tape together without sticking to the metallic busbar. Extremely flexible and easy to install, the combination of outer insulation with an inner hot-melt adhesive allows for electrical insulation protection over complex geometric-shaped busbar sections, where busbar tubing cannot easily be installed.

Our heat-shrinkable red busbar insulating tapes are available in a range of sizes and are suitable for both LV and MV applications between 1kV – 24kV.
