Nexans Solderless Screen Earth Kit – SE5

Nexans SE5 solderless screen-earthing kit, designed to earth the copper tape screens of XLPE and EPR insulated MV cables without the need for soldering.

Each SE5 solderless earth screening kit includes: three stainless steel constant force springs and three 400mm lengths of tinned copper braid, with pre-soldered moisture blocks to protect primary insulation and stress-control layer from moisture migration.

• Conductor diameter range: 41.0-65.0mm
• Cable size acceptance at 12kV: 500-800mm²
• Cable size acceptance at 17.5kV: 500-800mm²
• Cable size acceptance at 24kV: 400-800mm²
• Cable size acceptance at 36kV: 400-800mm²
• Each earth braid has a pre-soldered end with M10 stud hole for connection to building earthing system
