PTS ProTect Short-Circuit Cable Straps

The ProTect short-circuit cable straps are available to augment our ranges of Ellis Emperor trefoil cable cleats. Designed for instances where fixed cleats are spaced more than 1 metre apart and is used to retain the trefoil cable formation, whilst maintaining the short-circuit protection features of the Emperor cleat. Using the ProTect short-circuit strap can allow fixing distances to increase between fixed cable cleats, therefore reducing installation cost and time.

Manufactured from marine-grade 316L stainless steel with integral LSF Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable protection liner, the ProTect strap provides the ultimate protection against the harshest environmental conditions. Supplied with an A4 compression bolt assembly, A2 nyloc nut and LSF screw liner.

The ProTect strap provides exceptional levels of short-circuit withstand, tested to 56kA rms (135kA peak) on 600mm centres. The cleat also meets European Standard EN 50368:2003.
