Manufactured from high quality uncoated 316 stainless steel, the HellermannTyton MBT (Metal Ball bearing Ties) have a non-releasable locking mechanism.

These heavy duty HellermannTyton cable ties have excellent chemical resistance, high strength and unrivalled fire resistance. These properties make them extremely popular within mass-transit systems, Petro-Chemical applications and off-shore installations.

All MBT cable ties have full LUL approval to Standard 1-085, Product Approval Register No: 2002.

The heavy duty MBT ties can be installed by hand, however the MK9-SST tie installation tool enables maximum tension to be achieved and is able to cut the loose tie end after tensioning.
