PXSS2K Brass Explosion Proof (ATEX) Cable Glands

The PXSS2K cable gland is compound filled to provide both flameproof and explosion protection. The ATEX certified gland is suitable for use on all types of un-armoured cables within CAT 2 (EExd Zone 2) Hazardous Areas.

This Hazardous Area cable gland provides a gas-tight compound barrier around the cable cores and an IP66 environmental seal on the cable outer sheath.

Gland entry thread protection rating IP54, can be improved to IP66 by using an entry thread washer.

Each gland size has a maximum number of cable cores able to be accepted within the gland body. Please see detail below.
