Search for "earthing gland"The Nexans PE 2 solderless earth kit is designed for use with the Nexans HSGK range of top hat glands when installing corrugated aluminium sheath cables (PICAS). Suitable for 240-400mm2 cable range at 11kV.
PE 2 solderless earth kits allow the earthing of the corrugated aluminium sheath mechanically without the need for abrasive solders or heat.
Contained within each kit contains: tinned copper braid, earthing plate, stainless steel worm drive clip, heatshrink protection tube and PVC tape.
Nexans solderless screen-earthing kits are required to effectively earth the copper tape screens of polymeric (XLPE and EPR) insulated Medium Voltage (MV) power cables without the need for soldering.
Each solderless earth screening kit contains three stainless steel constant force springs and three lengths of tinned copper braid. Each braid features a soldered end with stud hole for connection to the HSGK cable gland or system grounding point.
